My clients typically fall into one of two categories:
They have a problem – a department or business area that is causing them pain and needs to be fixed, streamlined, or scrapped and rebuilt.
or
They have an opportunity – that they can't take advantage of because they would need to build a new department or business unit to get it – and they don't have the resources.
My expertise is in streamlining and improving business processes, or developing them from scratch. I have worked in the areas of accounting, inventory & order processing, manufacturing, marketing & advertising, and job costing. I've developed business plans, business models, procedures, custom software, and staffing plans.
Whether we are fixing existing systems, or building new ones, my goal would be to get the area running smoothly and then either train existing staff, or help recruit new staff to run it.
These projects can run from a few months to a few years.
